Welcome to the sixth edition of Word Up, YO!
Can you believe we’ve already gone through five WOW!s?!
Thank you all for your ongoing support and dedication to the Nerd Mafia and our growing family. It is being monitored and noted. Some of you are making your way up the ranks and will be notified soon of your standings within the family.
Without sounding too *snarky*, let’s just say that we dealt with a lot of *snark* from you all last week. While fumbling through the plethora of posts, as coffee, soda, or wine made its way down our gullets, we were foibled into thinking that selecting a winner would be easy. We were wrong. Your *snarkiness* exceeded our expectations, and we were impressed with the level of humor, anger, grief, and honesty that we found.
There were a few posts that stood out, and we had a hard time choosing just one as a winner.
Betsy at Funky Mama Bird had us laughing while she wondered whether or not we are unknowingly educating our children in the art of snarkiness and sarcasm, and what the outcome of doing so might be.
Amanda over at It’s Blogworthy snarkily told us how much she hates morning radio hosts (mornings in general, actually), and how she’s found a station to listen to that actually plays music.
But Lori over at In Pursuit of Martha Points won us over with her unbelievable restraint in not using snark even on those people that totally deserve it. She saved her snark attack for another day…
Without any further adieu, last week’s winner is…
