Word Up, YO! Week 13

Week 13 is upon us.

Yes, we said Week THIRTEEN.

It doesn’t take an Enforcer to know that the 13th of anything is a time to watch.your.back.

Because it’s the 13th Word Up, Yo!, we Dons decided to go Donnie Brasco on your derriere.

But don’t be worried about the WOW!; it’s both fun and easy to use, even for those not familiar with it.

It’s the meeting a couple of guys carrying crowbars and shivs in a dark alley you should fear.

Before we get to the new Word of the Week, we need to make a Man.

This week’s winner was clear. With her clash of Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Bret Michaels, The Next Food Network Star and her mom, we’d like to congratulate Conflicted Mean Girl!

In the eyes of the Nerd Mafia, you are now a Made Man!

Please contact one of the Dons to received your code for the official Nerd Mafia button.

    Consider me stumped.
  2. I just told Liz that I absolutely LOVE you word up ladies - and my only regret is that my brain can't come up with a single cotton pickin' post to go with your words!! But I lOVE THEM!!! "Fugazi" is fanTAStic!!! :)
  3. Wow, that's a tough one!
  4. The Sweetest says:
Ok, funny, because as a sometimes Fugazi listener who married a Fugazi fan, I have never thought to look that word up in the dictionary. And for that band, the name is like an oxymoron.
  5. Hmmmm....this could actually easily go into a post I have in draft for this week...except that it would probaby make my point that I'm not judging a certain person that I would describe as this a little bit harder to believe. LOL
  6. Bethany @ Organic Enchilada says:
I really like this word. Nice pick!
  7. Like I told Liz, I have seen lots of mafia movies, but somehow this word doesn't ring a bell. I'll do my best, but I have been such a Word Up, Yo! slacker lately... Boo.
