The Brazil Butt Lift Workout: One Week Down, 4 More To Go!

Last week, I told you I was making a promise to myself to lose weight. And to keep me honest, I also told you that at the end of a month of eating healthy and doing the Brazil Butt Lift workouts that I would also post my before and after pictures. I have no idea what I was thinking, but I still will keep that promise!

I also posted my current measurements and weight. And after one week, I’ve already lost almost 5 pounds! I know it was probably all water retention, but it still makes me feel good to know that my hard work is paying off. My pants are fitting better (meaning I can actually button them) and my energy level is way up. I’m still enjoying the daily workouts, too.

Now on the the cheats…I actually did much better not cheating than I thought I would. The Brazil Butt Lift 6 Day Supermodel Slimdown Diet kept me full and satisfied. Since last Monday when I started, here are my cheats:

Monday – A glass of wine (Did assigned workouts)

Tuesday – 1 and a half vodka cocktails (Did assigned workouts)

Wednesday – No cheats! I done did good today, people! (Did assigned workouts)

Thursday – No cheats! (Did assigned workouts)

Friday – I went out with a friend and my brother and all of his friends for his birthday. Food wise I did great – no cheating! Alcohol? Another story…I totally cheated. (Did assigned workouts)

Saturday – 2 glasses of wine at my sister’s family BBQ (Didn’t do assigned workouts)

Sunday – 3 glasses of wine (This was supposed to be a free day for workouts, but since I didn’t do any on Saturday, I did the assigned workouts that I was supposed to have done)

Let me just say that these Brazil Butt Lift Workouts are not made for uncoordinated people. I am trying to get my feet to follow along with the moves and so I pretty much pay no attention to what my arms are doing. So I’ve also started doing the old school “8 Minute Arms” everyday too. I found it on You Tube and it does the job.

And now for an update on my measurements and weight…I couldn’t be happier!

See how I lost an inch and a half in my waist? Water retention, I tell ya. And while the Supermodel Slimdown Diet promised a six pound weight loss, I only lost almost five. I’m sure the alcohol had nothing to do with it, ha ha. I read something today and a guy said if you are going to drink alcohol while dieting you shouldn’t even bother trying to lose weight. So my focus this week is to let go of my evening sanity saver glass of wine.

  1. Wow! That is so impressive. I have heard of the Brazilian Butt Lift, but I have absolutely NO COORDINATION so I don’t know if that would work for me.

    • I have no coordination either, which is why I have to workout my arms separately…I have to concentrate on what my feet are *supposed* to be doing and trying not to seriously injure myself!

  4. Good job thus far! I know it feels fantastic and it’s enough to keep you motivated! I don’t have a problem w/ alcohol…I rarely drink it, I have a problem with sweets lol which is pretty much what alcohol turns into, so we’re on the same boat.

    • The workouts are kicking my ass! I’m still sore even after doing it everyday for 10 days! It’s a good thing though, it reminds me that all the hard work is actually doing what it’s supposed to. My favorite ones are the High and Tight and the Tummy Tuck.

  10. Woohoo for progress!

    I’ve been doing my thing, which I’m still not able to really define. I do cardio 2-3 times a week, interval train with weights 2-3 times a week, try not to snack, try to drink minimally, and then do something epic every weekend (e.g. 15-20 mile run or a 50 mile bike ride).

    The scale isn’t cooperating, but my clothes are fitting much better. So I think I’m doing something right.

    I can’t imagine trying to find the coordination for the Brazil Butt Lift Workout, though. I’d hurt myself.

  11. Don’t cut ALL the wine out, you’ll be miserable (at least I would be) and then you’ll be more likely to quit. All in moderation and balance! Yay you!

    Have you seen the water drink on Pinterest? I’ve been doing it for a couple of weeks and my rings barely fit… all water retention!

  13. Good for you girl, I just bought the Brazilian workout and can’t wait to get it in. Sometimes I’m lazy to go to the gym and need motivation for working out at home. lol I have the same alcohol cheating problem as you, but I’m a Barcardi/whiskey on the rocks drinker..What helps me not gain weight and no hangover or get hungry is to have a protein shake before bed.. Even when I was a personal trainer I still cheated. My one guilty pleasure. :-) It’s the eating after drinking that kills people..
