Last week, I told you I was making a promise to myself to lose weight. And to keep me honest, I also told you that at the end of a month of eating healthy and doing the Brazil Butt Lift workouts that I would also post my before and after pictures. I have no idea what I was thinking, but I still will keep that promise!
I also posted my current measurements and weight. And after one week, I’ve already lost almost 5 pounds! I know it was probably all water retention, but it still makes me feel good to know that my hard work is paying off. My pants are fitting better (meaning I can actually button them) and my energy level is way up. I’m still enjoying the daily workouts, too.
Now on the the cheats…I actually did much better not cheating than I thought I would. The Brazil Butt Lift 6 Day Supermodel Slimdown Diet kept me full and satisfied. Since last Monday when I started, here are my cheats:
Monday – A glass of wine (Did assigned workouts)
Tuesday – 1 and a half vodka cocktails (Did assigned workouts)
Wednesday – No cheats! I done did good today, people! (Did assigned workouts)
Thursday – No cheats! (Did assigned workouts)
Friday – I went out with a friend and my brother and all of his friends for his birthday. Food wise I did great – no cheating! Alcohol? Another story…I totally cheated. (Did assigned workouts)
Saturday – 2 glasses of wine at my sister’s family BBQ (Didn’t do assigned workouts)
Sunday – 3 glasses of wine (This was supposed to be a free day for workouts, but since I didn’t do any on Saturday, I did the assigned workouts that I was supposed to have done)
Let me just say that these Brazil Butt Lift Workouts are not made for uncoordinated people. I am trying to get my feet to follow along with the moves and so I pretty much pay no attention to what my arms are doing. So I’ve also started doing the old school “8 Minute Arms” everyday too. I found it on You Tube and it does the job.
And now for an update on my measurements and weight…I couldn’t be happier!
See how I lost an inch and a half in my waist? Water retention, I tell ya. And while the Supermodel Slimdown Diet promised a six pound weight loss, I only lost almost five. I’m sure the alcohol had nothing to do with it, ha ha. I read something today and a guy said if you are going to drink alcohol while dieting you shouldn’t even bother trying to lose weight. So my focus this week is to let go of my evening
sanity saver glass of wine.
