Saturday Stuff #3

Another week’s come and gone…and this one I’m glad to see take a hike! The weather here has been just miserable…super hot AND humid. Blech!

This is gonna be short and sweet because we are in the middle of getting the stairs finished up and the inside of the house repainted where the damage occurred and we have to get out of here pretty much all weekend long. While I should be getting stuff together and ready to go to haul all 3 kids over to hubby’s sister’s house, I find myself blogging. Shocking, I know! If I don’t get a chance to visit your blog or respond to your comments, this damn construction is the reason why…bear with me, please!

So here are a few posts that I found this week that I loved and that you should check out if you have a chance!

AJ over at Simple Sweet Inspiration shares some hilarious one-liners that can be used when you need to get the last word in.

Karen over at Mortensen Moments reminds us to enjoy the simple things in life and to take time to stop and smell the roses, so to speak.

Remember when I described to you a moment that stood still in my mind when I realized Tater was growing up? CDG over at Move Over Mary Poppins had a similar experience with her son at the library, and describes it so beautifully that it made me cry.

I also completed a product review for All Terrain all natural products…check it out here!

Have a fantastic weekend!

And so it goes…

  1. I stumbled across the post from CDG, and I was so touched. I'll have to go check out the others as well...
  2. Thanks for the links. I'm alone tonight and the next several, so I may just find time. So glad you are getting your stairs done. YAH!! Time to celebrate.
  3. I thought you were going to cut back on posting. I guess you just can't help yourself! Have a great weekend.

It seems like there's a heatwave everywhere except San Francisco. We had 2 days of warm weather and then the fog returned. Now it's cold again.

Hope all goes well with your house painting and repairs. I repainted a portion of my house early this year and I know it's no easy task.
  6. I have to check them out - thanks for collecting!
  7. Laurie Wallin says:
Okay, that link to the one-liners made me laugh so hard I nearly peed. I love a great joke and I think you set me up for the rest of the summer, which is not an insignificant gift to this weary mom of 4 in the muggy heat!
  8. So gllad the stairs are already done. Don't worry about us, we'll just talk amongst ourselves.
  9. Lula Lola says:
