Santa Claus Is Coming To Town…And We Wanna See Those Pictures!

One of the things I look forward to since becoming a mom is taking the kids to get their pictures taken with Santa. I love seeing their eyes light up (or shrink in fear as you’ll see in a minute) at the wonder of the man in red. Tater “gets” it now, but the girls? We’ll see in a week or so when we get the annual Santa picture taken.

Last year, Lila was NOT happy about being sat on a strange looking stranger’s lap…in fact I may have scarred her for life.

They can go incredibly wrong or incredibly wonderful, but no matter what your experience is, we want to see your child’s Santa photos.

Join Tonya from Letters For Lucas and I by linking up your 2011 Photos with Santa! If you don’t celebrate Christmas, any holiday photo will do, as long as it is from this year and it’s festive.

The link up will begin on Monday,  December 5th and stay open until Sunday, December 18th. Yep, there will be some fun giveaways and you won’t want to miss out on them

All you have to do is grab the button (coming soon!) and link up a post of you, your kids, or your pet on the big guy’s lap. So come back and join us! More details coming on Monday!

I’m super excited to be guest posting over at The Kir Korner and sharing my Proud Mommy Moment(s)! Thanks Kir for having me…I’m so glad I call you my friend!

  1. Last year our son was absolutely terrified! As a mother I was both heartbroken and giddy because I know he will laugh at those pictures one day. If not, I know I will. ;) Barbara recently posted..34 WeeksMy Profile
  2. i have a confession: the past two years (yes this one too) I couldn't stand the look of terror on Gio's face, so we have taken a FAMILY with Santa picture...but I'll be so proud to share it. :) All I can remember is my sister screaming her head off for years in our pictures while I sat content and happy on Santa's lap. I can't wait to see the pics in this link!!! what a FUN idea. and thanks for being in the Corner today...I loved having you. 3. All of our Santa moments so far have gone incredibly wrong. My kids will now wave at Santa from way across the mall, but won't go anywhere near the guy. C @ Kid Things recently posted..Excedrin® Migraine Relaxation Baskets! #giveaway #winMy Profile
  4. It's cute, funny, yet seems mean at the same time. We've not always been able to get pics w/Santa. But the year after Meg was born (way back in 2007) Nana wanted to get a pic of all of em w/Santa. So off we went. Bridge and Sean (almost 6 & 3 ) sat BUT a 1 yr old Meg found a death grip on me that left marks on my shoulder. She was having none of it. Hopefully, this year will be different. Sean is 9 now and almost too big for the whole Santa thing. My how the years go. Paulette recently posted..Breaking TabooMy Profile
