Revolt Fitness Program: Week 4 Down

I’ve been at the Revolt Fitness Program for 4 weeks now. A month, though it doesn’t seem like it. Working out has become part of my day – I actually look forward to it instead of dreading it like I used to. This week, I’m going to share my measurements with you. Gulp.

Why do we always lose it in the boobs?! The biggest loss of course was in my stomach. No surprise for me there. And while I see the biggest difference in my arms and legs, I also have the least loss there. Go figure.

So I’ve lost 10 inches in one month…I’m really happy with that! But what’s even more important to me is the amount of fat I’ve lost. I started at the beginning of the month with 34.75% fat mass, which is 51.53 lbs. of fat. Four weeks later, I have 30.05% fat mass (I was really hoping to break into the 20’s!), which is 43.72 lbs. of fat. That means I lost 7.81 pounds of fat! I’ve also gained 5 lbs. of lean mass. This is working.

While I’ve lost 7.81 lbs. of fat mass, from what I understand I replaced it with lean mass…not pounds off the scale. I started this month out weighing 148.3 lbs. I now weigh 145.5, meaning I’ve only lost 2.8 lbs.

I’ll be honest, it’s discouraging not seeing the scale numbers move, but I am happy with the results.

These numbers and pictures were really hard to share. I think because I’m so embarrassed by where I started from. Don’t get me wrong, I knew I was out of shape, but I guess I had no idea how bad it actually was.  And also because my body is nowhere where I want it to me…I still have a long ways to go. A LONG ways.
