Raise Your Hand If You Are Going To The Blissdom Conference 2012!

The Blissdom Conference. Other than BlogHer, it’s the one conference I have really wanted to attend since I started blogging almost two years ago now.

Over the summer, I was lucky enough to attend BlogHer 2011 in San Diego. I also was lucky enough to attend Evo 2011  in Park City, Utah, where @KludgyMom and I were representin’ Clever Girls Collective, and where I almost died. And where The Bloggess turned me into a zombie. And I’m not gonna lie: I would never move out of state, but if I ever had to because I was wanted by the FBI or something? I’m pretty sure I would check out real estate in Park City. Like Park’s Edge or something. Because Park City was beyond stunning. Of course, that’s when there was no snow on the ground. And I hate snow, so maybe I never would move there in real life. Anyways, it was beautiful there, and you can bet I bought my ticket to Evo 2012 the first day they were available…it was an amazing conference and I learned a lot. I can’t wait to go back!

I don’t think I’ll attend BlogHer next year…not because I don’t want to, though. It’s because Jason and I have never been to New York City, and he already said that the only way I could go was if we all went! But I know what would happen if we all went…he would end up mad at me because I would never be with him and the kids. I went to BlogHer 2011, and trust me when I say that I would not have fun if the whole family went with me to BlogHer 2012. So I think I’ll pass.

I will also be attending Bloggy Boot Camp Las Vegas. Because me plus Vegas plus all of my blogging friends? Well, I don’t think I even have to say why I’m looking forward to this one!

Blissdom…oh, Blissdom. I’ve heard so much about it and I want to experience it! I want to go to a conference just for fun…just to meet my bloggy friends and learn something new. I don’t want to have an agenda, I don’t want to have to try to get work out of it. I just want to go and have a good time. But what I’m looking forward to most is *finally* meeting my BFFs and business partners Shell from Things I Can’t Say and Ashley from My Front Porch Swing. These are women who I have grown close to, that I talk to on Skype, Twitter, and email everyday. That I can’t do without. And to spend an entire weekend with them is going to make my entire year!

So tell me, which conferences are you attending next year? Will you be at Blissdom 2012?

Don’t forget to link up those photos of your kids with Santa in the Santa Photos Linkup hosted by me and Tonya from Letters for Lucas! Lots of giveaways including gifts from Kidzies.com, Raleigh Cake Pops, and more!

And if you haven’t seen it yet, I have a giveaway with Honey Girl Organics that you DO NOT want to miss!

One last thing…I have a poll going on right now on Facebook about whether or not to keep going with my Mommy Moments at the Monster…would you please head over to Mommy of a Monster on Facebook and respond?

  8. I really want to become independently wealthy, and start my own blogging conference at some truly luxurious place, inviting/flying all of the bloggers that I interact with to come out with me. Until then, I'm not sure which conferences I'll be attending . . . despite my penis, I'm actually contemplating BlogHer12 (I grew up outside of NYC, so I can stay for cheap). February can be a rough time - but Nashville has always called to me -- I may try to talk the wife into giving the kids to her family for a weekend. 13. There is a chance I might get to go to Blissdom but we'd be making a family trip out of it so I'm not sure if I should or not. I keep explaining to my husband that I would be gone ALL day both days but not sure he quite gets it. Jessica recently posted..Sunshine and RosesMy Profile
