You haven’t seen much of me these past two weeks. That’s because the kids were all out on Spring Break and trying to keep them busy was challenging to say the least. One thing that is guaranteed to make the girls happy and keep them busy for long periods of time is painting their finger and toe nails, and we did it many times over the last two weeks. Thankfully we had lots of Piggy Paint on hand!
Piggy Paint Nail Polish for Little Piggies
Piggy Paint is natural, eco-friendly nail polish designed for little girls. I love that it is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and doesn’t smell strongly like other nail polish. The polish is also water based, so accidental spills aren’t hard to clean up.
Piggy Paint also comes with a small thin brush, making it easy to apply to little nails. It dries quickly and hard, so that the girls can wear it for a few days before it all chips off.
Of course part of the funnest part of painting nails is picking out the colors. There are so many Piggy Paint colors to choose from that the girls decided to paint each nail a different color!
After we painted multi-color piggies, to ensure maximum dryness and chip resistance I used my hair dryer for one minute with warm heat/low setting. We added extra fun while waiting for the polish to dry by singing 2 rounds of the ABC’s.
The girls love Piggy Paint because they say the bottles are cute and that the colors are fun. Because it’s “natural as mud”, I don’t mind letting them wear it all the time and it gives us some fun bonding time.
