There aren’t many cartoons that the kids love and that I can stand to watch. One that I really like watching with them is Nick Jr’s Peppa Pig.
Little Peppa and her family are always laughing, and they love jumping in mud puddles. The show features 4 year old Peppa, her brother George, Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig…with occasional appearance by her grandparents and other friends.
They all have charming British accents, and literally snort when they talk and laugh. I love that the show is so family oriented, the kids love everything Peppa and her family does.
Just recently, Fisher Price launched a Peppa Pig toy line exclusively at Toys R Us. There are plush dolls, DVDs, toy sets and books. I was lucky enough to be asked to review some of the new items, and I may have been just as excited as the kids when we got them!
The kids…all three of them…loved the little Peppa Pig Treehouse and continue to play with it…all three of them…together!
Ethan is loving the book Peppa Pig and The Lost Christmas List and I like it because there are so many of his sight words in it that I don’t mind reading it with him over and over again. He’s also a fan of the Peppa Pig Muddy Puddles and Other Stories DVD.
Lila hides the Peppa Pig Family Figures and there is a lot of bartering that happens for the other kids to be able to play with them.
Mia hordes the Peppa Pig stuffed animal. And as you can see, she also likes the little Peppa Pig Sip n Oink Tea Set.
The tea set includes a Peppa’s House teapot with a lid, a George sugar bowl, a Peppa milk pitcher, two teaspoons, two saucers and two adorable teacups. And when you lift the teacups as you can see you get quite a funny surprise! It’s definitely their favorite Peppa toy.
These all make great Christmas gift ideas, and I am planning on getting the girls the Peppa Pig Playhouse. I know they’ll love it.
I received a variety of Peppa Pig toys to facilitate this review. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.
