Teach Your Children Life Lessons Simply With Papersalt (Review and Giveaway!)

It’s no secret that I love books and reading. I am also hoping/praying/trying to make sure that my children will grow to love it as much as I do. So we read a lot. And when I can find books to read that will also teach my children what they need to know now and in the long run? I know I’ve struck gold. And I definitely struck gold when I found Papersalt.

Papersalt produces books, games and artwork to inspire and influence people. The people behind the scenes are parents and have families. They know that building and nurturing your family is the hardest thing you’ll do. They also know that simple, memorable, engaging content is extremely effective. And that is exactly what Papersalt is all about.

I received some fantastic products to review. I received being a girlbeing a boy, dinner table manners, and Kid Coupons. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love these books, and it happened instantly.

The books are full of very short, direct, and simple information that kids from preschool age through the teenage years can understand and appreciate. There is no fluff…just “need-to-know” things. Topics for the boy and girl books include doing the right thing for others, telling mom you love her, self confidence, and taking care of your body and mind. These are some of things we want to instill in our children now…things they will remember forever. And the lessons in each book really do apply to all of the kids, boy or girl. And the kids now say “The book says that” when I repeat lessons from the books.

The dinner table manners book is now a permanent fixture on our dinner table! The kids had a hard time staying seated, asking to be excused and a few other issues that occurred at every meal. Now when the kids do or don’t do something they are supposed to, I open the book and read directly from it to reinforce the point. And it is working! They are even telling me what they are or aren’t doing right. It has changed our meal eating experience!

Rewards are big, all parents know it. So the Kid Coupons have been my favorite Papersalt prouduct. The one that was the biggest hit was the Date Night With Mom coupon Ethan got after learning his first sight words. It is proudly being displayed on our fridge until he can cash it in (read: Daddy had a day off so he can keep the girls while we go to the movies). The booklet also has 5 Parents’ Choice coupons so you can make up your own.

These books are so great that I want to give two super lucky readers the opportunity to choose two books from the Papersalt collection for their families! Head over and check out all the Papersalt books. Then leave me a comment letting me know which two books you’d like to receive. Trust me, this is one giveaway you don’t want to pass up!
