Monster Likes #43

It’s the weekend and you know what that means…it’s time for Monster Likes! What’s Monster Likes? I list my favorite selection of posts I found throughout bloggy land over the past week.

If one of your posts is listed below and you want the badge, just shoot me an email or leave me a comment and I’ll send you the badge to put on your post!

And now on to the good stuff….

Over at I’m Living Proof that God Has A Sense of Humor, Helene wrote a post called I Confess, and it had me laughing out loud (Helene, I don’t have a picture of the kids on Thanksgiving, either)! I can’t wait to link up with a post of my own over at Housewife Eclectic next week…thanks Helene, I just found a new blog to read!

I loved reading Elf on the Shelf; What’s Your Elf’s Name? over at Tina’s place, life without pink. Ours is Fred, by the way. And if you’re a fan of Elf on the Shelf, you need to check out Gigi’s link up over at Kludgy Mom for the Elf on the Shelf Photo Contest for your chance to win a Microsoft LifecCam!

My friends over at Gevalia tweeted out a link to this recipe for Reindeer Cookie Ball Pops, and I can’t wait to make them for the kids!

Fadra over at Social Dialect posted Pitch of the Week: Dear Amazing Blogger and it was a pitch I received! See what she has to say about the good and bad of it.

Over at Tidy Mom, she posted 16 Homemade Gifts in a Jar, and there is just about something for everyone!

Babble had a fantastic post by the Sway Group: Five Reasons To Just Say No To Unpaid Work. Then, Ciarin over at Momfluential made even more valid points that us “mommy bloggers” need to think about. Bloggers, you need to read these. I’d love to know what you think.

This week over at Have Wine, Will Drink we featured and reviewed The California Wine Club. If you are trying to find a gift for people that have everything or are hard to buy for, consider a membership to The California Wine Club. It’s a perfect gift!

Okay, I don’t normally give my own stuff a Monster Likes, but Tonya from Letters for Lucas and I are hosting a Santa photos link up! So come back here on Monday and link up!

I have an AMAZING giveaway going on right now! Read what I have to say about Honey Girl Organic skin care products and see how you can win three free products yourself! This stuff ain’t cheap, so check it out!

What was your favorite post of the week?

Other Cool Stuff To Check Out…

Occasionally, I will receive an email about something that I’m not willing to write an entire blog post about, but that I think is worth mentioning…so I thought I could put those things here and if you want more information about them, you can click over to the links and find out more. Here are some cool things I received over the last couple of weeks…

  2. Wow, thanks for including me, Natalie!!! Confession is so cleansing for the soul...LOL!!! That recipe does look super yummy!!!! Have a great weekend!
  3. I totally agree about not writing for free. I get asked all the time to do things for free, not going to happen. Last week someone emailed me asking to review their a picture!!! Are you kidding me? 1. I don't work for free. 2. How can I review a product off a picture? My reply-I told him that I don't work for free and he replied that someone will. Sadly, that's true.
