I am a big fan of tips and shortcuts. Ones that save me time, money, and sanity. I’ve devoted a board on Pinterest to Cleaning Tips that I refer to regularly. I look to friends for tips on working out, parenting, and the best place to get cheap books. But my favorite tips are kitchen tips…the ones that just make our lives easier.
So when Anthony’s Pasta (remember my Italian Sausage and Penne Bake won there Tastes Like Home contest!) asked me to share my best kitchen tips and shortcuts, I jumped at the chance! My Kitchen Tips and Tricks board on Pinterest is one of my favorites, and I’ve shared lots of shortcuts here in the past too!
One of my newest favorite kitchen shortcuts is using Anthony’s Pasta Pot Sized Pasta. This is one of those products that leave you wondering, “Why didn’t I think of that?” No more breaking spaghetti (or other long pasta noodles!) in half because Anthony’s Pasta just made it shorter for us. Boil water and dump it in. You don’t even have to cut it up to make it easier for the kids to eat anymore!
I’ve also shared 10 tips on how to organize your freezer.
But my absolute favorite kitchen tip is this next one. It saves money…lots of money. And it also is so simple it will take just a few minutes for you to do.
Kitchen Tips: How To Keep Berries From Molding
Yep, my favorite of all kitchen tips is how to keep berries from molding. You can use this on any and all berries, and it works like a charm. It saves you money because you aren’t throwing away berries that mold after just a day or two. And the berries will easily last in the fridge for about a week. You can thank me later.
