I love watches. I have many of them, and I wear them all. I think I get this love of watches from my dad because he likes them too, and we always give him unique ones to add to his collection. When JORD reached out to me and asked if I’d like to check out a wood watch, I jumped at the chance! I’ve always thought they were really cool and I had always wanted one.
I received the Ely watch. It’s gorgeous! It’s understated and casual, so I can wear it anywhere…which I do. It also has the date display, which I always like on a watch since I can never remember the date.
About JORD Wood Watches
JORD (Swedish for earth, soil, land) believes in creating hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind wood watches. They look like works of art! Their style is sustainable, efficient, and simple. These watches are made with natural, untreated woods like maple, bamboo, zebrawood, and sandalwood. The glass is a scratch-proof mineral and the clasp is stainless steel. All JORD wood watches comes with a 12-month warranty. These watches are extremely sturdy, but know that they are splash proof and not intended to be waterproof. So don’t wear it while doing dishes, bathing, or swimming.
These wood watches can be adjusted to your wrist size. Mine came with additional links, but it fit perfectly. It’s almost like wearing a bracelet, meaning it isn’t super tight and does move around. I left it that way purposely because I don’t like my watches to fit too tightly.
It’s a watch that can be dressed up or down. Wherever you wear it, just be prepared to receive lots of compliments and questions about your unique watch. The one I get the most is “Is that really made of wood?”
I’m now a huge fan of JORD wood watches, and already have my eye on another one that I want. Which of their wood watches would you pick?
