I’ve been a very lucky girl and this is the second award I was given this week, which is awesome and fantastic!
And you know what? I deserve it because of the crappy week that I had last week. If you missed out on my recent romp through hell (thanks to Joann from Laundry Hurts My Feelings for that bit of genius!), you can catch up on it by reading about why I will not be getting a Mother of the Year award anytime soon.
Yay! I received this award from my friend Nolie over at Nolie’s Place. She blogs like I do about a little of everything in a very open and honest way. She’s a real mama! Thanks for the award Nolie!
The rules are simple: Answer the questions given to you with the award. Nolie made these questions up for me, and these are the ones I have to answer. Then, I have to make up ten of my own questions and pass it on to seven other bloggers.
Why do YOU blog?
I blog because it is an outlet for me to relieve some of the day-to-day stress that I pick up staying at home with three kids under three. Tater is a monster. The girls are now on the move. Crawling all over the place, and usually in opposite directions. Life is crazy and blogging helps me keep some sanity. And I never realized how much I liked to write until I started blogging! I really enjoy writing, and have even been thinking about taking a writing class.
What are 3 must read blogs of yours?
Only 3?? Ugh! That’s hard. See below for award winners; those are three that I read regularly!
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee, cream only. Preferably heavy whipping cream. No wonder I’ve got such a big ass.
You have one night to yourself and $500 to do as you please and you must spend the $500 on yourself. What are you going to do?
Buy a new purse. Probably Coach. I might even be able to get a wallet with the purse. That would be a gift that keeps on giving!
What is your opinion on “Reality” tv?
Love it! Project Runway, all of the Food Network shows, America’s Next Top Model…good times, people. I’m not in to Survivor or The Amazing Race or shows like that.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Maybe working part time and volunteering at the kids schools. Maybe going back to school to finish my MBA?
What is the best thing about Canada?
Where do you want to live when you retire?
At the beach. More specifically, on the beach. I doubt will have enough money to buy a multi-million dollar house though.
What is your dream vacation?
Anywhere tropical where the water is warm so we could scuba dive would be fantastic. But my ultimate dream vacation is taking a month to
drink my way through tour all of Italy. I’ll probably gain 50 pounds, but it will be worth it.
Are you now doing what you wanted to do when you were growing up?
Nope. I never, ever thought I’d be a SAHM, but I’m glad I got the opportunity to do it. I know how lucky I am.
So, I am going to cheat! Because (a) I’m lazy (b) I went to sushi last night with a bunch of people and had a little too much fun (c) I like these questions because they really made me think! And in honor of Nolie, I’m even leaving in the Canada question!
And because you all know that I think that giving, and getting, an award is a pretty cool and special thing, I want to give this award to only three bloggers! Go check ’em out because they rock and I look forward to reading them everyday!
onelovemama, and while you are there, check out her AWESOME cheesy bread bowl recipe!
Jenny at Happenings of a Little Bubba…I’m sending you to one directly to a post she wrote titled My Moment; one of the most touching posts I’ve read to date!
K over at Pull up your potty seat, this could take awhile because she has the shortest posts ever, but says so much!
And so it goes…
