Insignificant Ways People Change Our Lives

I’m sure to her it seemed insignificant. A passing piece of advice being handed down from a seasoned boss to a young employee.

To be successful, you don’t have to know everything, but you have to make sure that you surround yourself with people that do when you put them all together.

One sentence. Life changing.

Knowing that I didn’t have to learn it all, know it all. That all I needed was to surround myself with people who care about me and my well-being, but that would allow me to use my strengths, acknowledge my weaknesses, and to help me when I asked for help.

And now I am paying it forward – I can change a life by purchasing Heart of Haiti products. Instead of providing one-time funding through charity, Heart of Haiti is creating opportunities for Haitian artisans to earn life-changing income for themselves, their families, and their communities.

For Mother’s Day, I plan to purchase this: Fair Winds Trading Necklaces, Set of 4 Paper Bead.

Fair Winds Trading Necklaces, Set of 4 Paper Bead

It’s a bit pricey – $150 – but you can make four gifts out of this! One for you, your mom, your mother-in-law, and your best friend…that’s only $37.50 a gift!

And you can do the same by shopping the Shop for a Better World / Heart Of Haiti collection in its entirety (including just added items for Spring) by visiting: http://bit.ly/gaalFP

Shop Between May 3rd and May 8th and Save 15% on Your Purchase!

Just use the promo code: CLEVERGIRLS

Check out all of the Heart of Haiti products – there’s something there that will suit even the toughest mother-in-law’s tastes!

But most importantly, you are helping to change the life of at least one person who is trying to better him or herself.

You can make a difference.

I was selected for this very special “CleverHaiti” opportunity by Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity. All opinions are my own.

  1. Those are beautiful. I would buy them for myself – since I’m pretty sure Mr. Kiss isn’t doing jack for me this year.

  2. ooo! I saw those too! Love them!

  3. The power of just a few words, at just the right time! Lovely! And those bracelets are great! I already ordered necklaces for all of Principessa’s teachers for the end of the year!

  4. What a great cause! There’s so many little we can do to help out and this is one of them. Thanks for sharing this, Natalie.
