  1. I've been doing the bacon oven fry for a while now. Why have I never thought to do sausage the same way??? It makes mornings and cleanups so much easier. <3 laura recently posted..[3 years ago] today, for you, i livedMy Profile
  2. Thank you for this! I've always wanted to try to bake my bacon but thought I would screw it up! Thanks for the instructions. Have you ever put brown sugar or any topping on it before you bake it? I think a friend of mine did that once.

I love frying bacon in the oven.. I buy the multi packs of bacon at one of the warehouse stores. Then I cook 2 or 3 lbs. at the same time. After draining on paper towels and cooling I place 4 to 6 slices in a paper towel, fold the towel over the top and add another layer of bacon. Keep stacking until all the bacon is stacked. Slide the stacks in a Ziplock Freezer bag. Anytime I need bacon I just take out what I need and place it in the microwave for 45 to 60 seconds and done. Even us old dog new tricks can learn new tricks. Wasted so much time just cooking the servings I needed for each meal. Not to mention the time spent cleaning the stove.
