I love fall. Even though fall doesn’t show up to where I live until mid October or so, I always look forward to the weather cooling off, making hearty soups for dinner, and all the scents of fall. Scents like cinnamon, toasted almonds, and vanilla, cranberries and the leaves outside. The kind of scents that make you want to sit by a fire and sip tea. Fall scents warm you up and remind you of home. So when I received the Febreze Home Harvest Collection last week, I couldn’t wait to open it!
Because I love so many fall scents (who am I kidding – I have scented candles, warmers, and plug ins throughout the house year round!), I always have a different scent in every room. I feel like this way I don’t get tired of the scents or quit smelling them. As a huge fan of Febreze already (the Febreze Air Effects Thai Dragon Fruit AirFreshener is my favorite!) I was excited when I opened up this cute little Febreze farm, and delighted by what I saw!
A variety of scents were included, as well as a warmer and even a Toasted Almonds scent for the car!
Also included was a scentspiration box full of some fun recipes, activities and crafts, and fall decor ideas for you and your family to enjoy. The scents and the designs on the packaging helped inspire the ideas in the scentspiration box.
Of course I scanned the recipes first! I found three recipes similar to ones that I make often, especially around the holidays or during fall.
Baked S’mores? Well we will by trying those first! The kids love smores and I’ve shared two yummy s’mores recipes here, including one for a s’mores cookie bar!
My jalapeno creamed corn is always a hit wherever I take it, though I may be switching it up some after reading this creamed corn recipe!
And an Iced Coffee Float? Yes please! I have a recipe for “Adults Only” coffee. It’s served hot, but I’m going to play with the recipe and see if I can make a cold float out of it.
But what I’m really looking forward to is making these scented oranges with the kids.
We used to make them when we were kids, and I know the kids would have fun doing it together. They’ll make our living room smell like a new fall scent AND look great!
After trying out the Febreze fall scents, I can tell you that my favorites are the Autumn Harvest Noticeables. Plug the warmer into the wall, and the fall scents of sandalwood and chai will alternate…it’s like getting two scents in one!
Which fall scents remind you of fall? Do you use the same fall scent throughout your home or a different one in each room?
