Last week, I was lucky enough to join a Twitter party with The Motherhood and got milk? for their Latte Love program. It trended it was so big! I have hosted and attended a lot of Twitter parties, and this one was by far the fastest moving one I’ve ever been a part of. It was fun and I learned a lot about coffee and how to make a lot of different kinds of lattes (bonus!)
I drink coffee in some form every morning. Sometimes hot, sometimes cold, sometimes frothed or flavored, but I always drink it. And I always drink it with milk in it. I got milk.
While having my latte is usually when I sit down with the computer and read blogs. Most of the time I read blogs that I’ve been reading forever, but occasionally I’ll check out new blogs that people are recommending on Facebook or Twitter.
So what does a got milk? Twitter party have to do with my favorite blogs? Well, they wanted to know what blogs I can’t live without – the ones that make me laugh (and sometimes cry), that bring a smile to my face and help make my breakfast better while enjoying my morning latte. So I thought I’d share some of my favorites with all of you!
Letters For Lucas I adore Tonya, and not just because I knew her in “real” life before either of us started blogging or because she’s a fanatical reader like I am. Tonya has a way with words that is like music to my ears. She’s always open and honest and doesn’t sugar coat anything. Tonya’s blog was the first blog I ever read, and she is the reason why I started blogging. Follow Tonya on facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
Funny or Snot Poppy is one of my all time favorite bloggers, and has become a friend, too. She is hilarious, and our outlooks on life and parenting are similar (though she does exercise and take care of herself much better than I do). If you read anything of Poppy’s, you are guaranteed a laugh. Her blog was the first blog I found written by someone I didn’t know, and I’m so glad that I’ve gotten to know her. She also has something she could blackmail me with that she swore she’d never share so I have to make sure to keep her happy. Follow Poppy on facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
Project Alicia Let me tell you, Alicia can take a picture! I love swooning over her gorgeous photos and just wishing I could take pictures have as good. Or even a quarter as good. She’s wonderful. And so are her recipes. And she’s one of my oldest blogging friends. We started around the same time and I adore her. Follow Alicia on facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
Momcomm I have been blogging for almost 3 years now, and I still don’t know what the heck I’m doing. But thanks to Melissa, at least I have a fighting chance on figuring out how to make my blog and social media presence better. She can break things down and make them easily understandable, even for us un-savvy tech people. She’s willing to answer questions and help you however she can. She’s a very accessible blogger who wants to help, and a role model to me. Did I mention she’s writing a book? Follow Melissa on facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
KludgyMom Okay, yes Gigi and I are good friends and have worked a lot together, but I still love her blog because of what it is. It’s full of humor, she doesn’t shy away from talking about taboo topics, she’ll make you think, shares great recipes, and also shares her blogging knowledge. She’s funny and honest and she’s good people. Follow Gigi on facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
All Things Fadra and Social Dialect and Charitable Influence Fadra is a busy blogger! She writes all three of these blogs, and still has time to chat on Facebook and Twitter and share her knowledge and know how. She helps bloggers become better bloggers and helps brands understand how to communicate with us. She helps non-profits get in touch with bloggers who are willing to help promote them. I have met Fadra in person, and would love to spend more time getting to know her. You should too! Follow Fadra on facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.
Now tell me, who are some of your favorite bloggers and blogs?
