Me with two fabulous bloggers: Cheryl (middle) and Gigi (right)

I want to tell you about 5 fabulous bloggers that I admire and appreciate.

What makes a blogger fabulous? Well, these ladies know their stuff, and they are also willing to share their knowledge and help others grow. They also know how to make us think, they make us laugh, make us cry…they make us feel. In my book, that means they’re fabulous.

Please don’t get me wrong…there are a lot of fabulous bloggers out there, and I couldn’t possibly name them all. These five bloggers hold a special place in my heart because through their words, they’ve helped me grow and become a better woman, mom, wife and blogger. If you don’t know these ladies and read their blogs, believe me when I say that you are missing out.

Here they are…in alphabetical order…

Gigi – One of my fairy blogmothers, Gigi of the Kludgy Mom fame is one of the most well-rounded bloggers that I know. She blogs about everything: parenting, marriage, being a mom, her kids, food, and how-to blog and do it well (just to name a few). She’s not afraid to be controversial, she speaks her mind, she’s funny, she’s helpful, and she’s fabulous. And she is my friend.

Liz – Everybody knows Liz and a belle, a bean, and a chicago dog. And she is EVERYWHERE! You can find her at The Blog Frog (she’s got 2 communities there!), Our Mommyhood, she is one of the most active commentors I know, and (like me) she is a Twitterholic. Liz seems to know everything that there is to know about blogging…she just gets it. Anytime I have a question, she’s the person I ask first. And I’m honored that we (along with KLZ from Taming Insanity) are part of a tribe. I’m also honored to call her a friend.

Nichole & Cheryl – Yes, I know that’s technically two bloggers, but together they are the red dress club: and I have found a passion in writing that I owe to them because of the red dress club: writing prompts.

Nichole, of In These Small Moments, can write. Her words move me; they make me feel. There are very few other bloggers that I read that have such a strong way with words. I want to learn to write like her – with her passion and her power. She is also incredibly friendly, and I look forward to meeting her IRL so that I can give her a hug and thank her for pushing me to write. She is truly a fabulous woman and friend.

Cheryl, of Mommypants is also a truly gifted writer. Her words can move me to laugh and cry, sometimes all in the same post. She’s just as funny in person as she is in real life. She’s smart, honest, and sassy, and a friend that I hope to see again soon.

Shell – My other fairy blogmother, Shell blogs at Things I Can’t Say and she is another of my favorite Twitterholics. She also blogs at Babble’s Famecrawler, and does some amazing product reviews and giveaways. She’s honest, she speaks her mind, she has an amazing following, and she also knows SO much about blogging. She helps me more than I can even begin to say. She is all kinds of fabulous.

The Empress Okay, her name is really Alexandra, but if you’ve been blogging or tweeting for any length of time, you probably already know The Empress from Good Day, Regular People. She’s smart, she’s funny, and incredibly supportive. INCREDIBLY supportive. Everybody loves her, and she guest posts in more places than any other blogger I can think of. She also loves the twins so much that I’m dedicating a page on my blog to the twins in her honor! Fabulous doesn’t even begin to describe how fabulous she really is (and I think everybody will agree with me on that!)

If you know these ladies and think they are fabulous, I ask that you help me introduce them to others by tweeting this post for me!

Don’t forget to enter the 50 Fabulous Wishes contest for a chance to win $1,000 to support a friend’s wish. I was selected for this Tropicana Trop50 sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do. I received compensation to use and facilitate my post.

  8. Kristi {at} Live and Love...Out Loud says:
Liz couldn't be here to accept her award so I'll gladly accept it on her behalf. First and foremost, she'd like to thank God because through Him all things are possible. Next, she'd like to thank the little people - Maddie and Kate - for their uber cuteness which inspires her to blog like a mad woman. To Jack, for his willingness to wear questionable doggy costumes, specifically the hula skirt. And finally, to Craig...her metro-sexual beast of man, for the blog fodder that oozes out of his pores 24 hours a day.

I think that about covers it. ;) In all seriousness, great list Natalie!
  9. Thank you so much for including me in this list! Love you!

Your entire community: Liz, KLZ, Gigi, Cheryl, Nichole--you were all so kind to me when I began blogging. You never gave up on me, even if I didn't understand all the commenting/guesting/blogging/tweeting etiquette.

You all never held my lack of common sense against me.

    Never.

And you're all going straight up for that. Straight.Up.

    I love you, lovely ladies.

And, thank you, Nat...you made me smile.

Here, I thought I was coming over for a twins in prison tale.

Which, you know, couldn't hurt....I mean, I feel due...
