Easter at our house is always fun. We have my parents and siblings over for a big potluck breakfast, and then the adults enjoy Amaretto Mimosas while we set up an Easter Egg Hunt in the yard for all of the kids. Luckily here in So Cal we always have nice weather on Easter (knock on wood), so we enjoy the day outside. It’s fun for everyone, and something that the kids look forward to each year. This year, I decided to order some Easter goodies from chasing fireflies.
I love chasing fireflies not only for the name, but also for their boutique-style products. I’m not gonna lie, the site is expensive, but if you are ever going to splurge for a special occasion or holiday, it’s the place to be. chasing fireflies Easter products didn’t disappoint me at all.
The selection of Easter items range from cute bunnies and gifts to fill Easter baskets to accessories for an Easter-themed parties. There’s a gorgeous array of dresses and accessories, including personalized bunny pj’s and tees. The quality of chasing fireflies products makes them worth every penny.
I decided to select a few items that would make decorating and celebrating for Easter this year even more fun than normal.
The first thing I decided we needed was this eggstra fun bunny. Every year I plant a garden. The kids have expressed a desire to help this year, so I thought this would be a fun thing that they could be responsible for. This cute little handmade egg-shaped ceramic pot comes with a soil mixture and rye grass seeds. The kids get to plant tiny seeds and watch them grow into “hair” for the bunny. I would include a picture of ours, but it’s not long enough yet (the hair reaches full height in less than 2 weeks!) And once the hair is grown out, the kids can cut it and watch it grow again.
I also got this gingham Easter egg hunt kit that the kids are already harassing me to set up in the backyard. Apparently they don’t want to wait until Easter! The kit will transform your yard into an Easter wonderland that has 8 signs that the kids will love to follow to find all the Easter Bunny’s secret hiding places!
Last but not least, I treated myself to this book full of 50 Easter things to make and do. The book is full of ideas and instructions for 50 projects that your children (and you!) will love and have fun doing. What I like about this book is that the ideas use natural objects and basic craft supplies…probably stuff that you already have on hand. Ideas include making an Easter garland, a pop-up card and toy-filled eggs. I even got an extra book to give to Ethan’s preschool teacher because it’s full of ideas even little ones can do!
Does your family celebrate Easter? If so, you should definitely head over to to check out their selection of Easter items…you won’t be disappointed!
Disclaimer: I received a gift card to chasing fireflies to purchase the items I mentioned in this review. This review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. As always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
