Say Goodbye To Tangles (And Tears!) With This Detangle Brush

Does your little girl scream and cry every time you try to brush her hair? Do mornings become nightmares when you say "let's brush your hair?" Then you NEED this detangle brush!

I always tell you when I am writing a sponsored post or product review that I’m compensated for – this is not one of them. I am writing about this detangle brush because it works and has changed mine (and Lila’s!) lives, and if you have a little girl who hates having her hair brushed, it will change yours too!

Scene: Every single morning. A beautiful little girl sits on the counter screaming like I am brushing her hair with a hairbrush made out of needles.

Something had to change, people. Every morning Lila would scream and be so dramatic while I brushed her hair – as gently as I possibly could – that you would think I was performing some kind of torture ritual on her.

Tears.

Screams.

More tears and cries of unfathomable pain.

Accusations that I was trying to hurt her on purpose.

Every.Single.Morning.

Conditioner in her hair helped, but didn’t work completely. That spray-in detangler didn’t help. Hairbrushes, combs…I tried them all and nothing worked.

It’s not like her hair is thick and curly and unmanageable. Her hair is soft and fine and super straight and always looks like she flat irons it. It’s the kind of hair that I wish I had. And still, hair brushing was one of the worst parts of our day.

Until one day while at Bed Bath & Beyond when I stumbled across this detangle brush:

The Michel Mercier Ultimate Detangling Brush. I thought: What the hell, I’ll give it a try because it couldn’t possibly make things any worseSo I shelled out the $14.99 (less 20% because I had a coupon), and the cashier told me: “These things must work because we can’t keep them in stock and not one of them has been returned. Did you see the commercial for ’em?” Nope, I hadn’t seen it, but I felt even better about my detangle brush purchase after hearing the cashier say that.

Michel Mercier’s Ultimate Detangle Brush

According to the website, this detangling brush is “designed to gently detangle your hair in seconds! Unlike ordinary brushes with only a few contact points, Michel Mercier’s Ultimate Detangling Brush uses 428 different contact points simultaneously, reducing pressure and detangling your hair with fewer strokes…Smooth, pain-free detangling. Reduced hair loss and breakage. One brush — no more tangles!”

Seriously, it does EXACTLY that! I can’t believe how easily this detangle brush glides through her hair without pulling it or ripping out knots. It TOTALLY WORKS!

No more tears. No more screaming. No more hair brushing drama.

It has made our lives easier and our mornings less stressful.

If you have a little girl who hates having her hair brushed because it hurts so much, you need this detangle brush. Really. Go get it now! But don’t order it online unless you can’t find it at Bed Bath & Beyond…it’s $14.99 plus $5.95 shipping and handling which is ridiculous. But if I had to, I’d pay that much for this detangle brush – it works that good!

  1. You may have just saved me from having to shave my daughter’s head! She’s 10 and we still have to comb her hair because it gets so darned tangled. I’m am heading to Bed, Bath, and Beyond this weekend to get one of these! :) Thanks for sharing this.

  2. Lol I wrote a non-sponsored post on the Wet brush for the same reasons! I am going to go get this brush though because her wet brush isn’t cutting it with the monster tangles she’s been getting due to this weather :/

  3. This brush is a huge fail for us. It’s miserable and doesn’t work for my daughter’s hair, which is thin and fine. I’ve found a bunch of other solutions that have worked better (which I’ve also blogged about!)

  4. We don’t have this exact brush, but we have a similar soft bristled brush. With their long, thick, curly hair, it has been a huge lifesaver.

  5. May I ask if you’re ok with fee-based blog entries? All I would want is
for you to make posts for me and merely a back link or
reference to my site. I am able to compensate you.

  6. This detangling brush is seeming very comfortable. All girls especially little ones suffered with hair bunches especially after washing hairs. it is not easy to detangle these. sometimes we have to lose our lots of hairs when we detangle hairs with plastic combs but the hairs brushes which you have given above are best for detangling. Thanks for sharing information about these.
