Cool Stuff I Found This Week #3 (Thank You Social Media)

I started doing these weekly roundups of the cool stuff that I’ve found or that people have shared on social media. It’s fun to share and so I decided to start a category just for the cool stuff on social media that I find.

Best thing this week! Well, for me anyways. I am in a head-to-head recipe contest on Facebook! Check out Anthony’s Pasta’s Facebook page and (please, please, please!) vote for my Italian Sausage and Penne Bake recipe. You could win a $250 VISA gift card, and I could win a $100. It’s a win-win!

Are you a fan of Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball? I’m not, and apparently my husband’s sense of humor is much different than mine. He sent this to me with a “Watch this it’s hilarious” message. I didn’t think it was, but maybe you will. If anything, watching the people watch the guy was the best part.

Just in case you needed more reasons to drink wine, my friend Nichole from In These Small Moments shared this one with me on Facebook. I love Nichole even more than I love wine. And here are 23 Excellent Reasons to Drink More Wine.

And then along those lines, my brother sent me this:

Who remembers Glamour Shots? I even wrote a post and included one of my old Glamour Shots. Which is why I loved this article about 12 Ways To Achieve the Best Glamour Shot.

Someone shared this on Facebook, and I loved it. It’s 5 Assumptions We Should All Try To Make About Everyone. It’s such a great reminder that assumptions don’t always have to be a bad thing. Now if everybody would just make these 5 Assumptions…

Seriously, I cannot get enough of these commercials for Sprint by James Earl Jones and Malcom McDowell making fun of our lives on Facebook. They are so funny and so true!

Charles Manson Got Himself A…Wait For It…25 Year Old Girlfriend

Okay, so this is old news, but I keep forgetting to share it and really, it’s so bizarre that I couldn’t NOT share it. Yep, Charlie and Star are k-i-s-s-i-n-g in a tree. Or a prison cell. Or something.

Not only does Charlie have a girlfriend, but apparently he doesn’t want to marry her.

And if that’s not weird enough, here’s some more food for thought…

Facts about Star:

1. She be cray. Obvs.

B. She is not all that unattractive. She could be America’s next top model with her dank features and odd aura.

III. She’s full of adventure! She was open to not only shaving her head, but also to carving an X in her forehead all in the name of love.

Quatro. Let’s not ignore the elephant in the room: the age difference. But refer back to #1 and this all makes sense.

What did you find this week on social media that made you laugh, cry, smile, sing, or think?

If you’ve been coveting a Keurig, Kindle Paperwhite, or a KitchenAid stand mixer, me and a group of bloggers will be giving away one of each. Check out my Comforts of Home giveaway. Good luck!
