It’s been awhile since I’ve done a guest post, and I really do enjoy it when I get the opportunity to do them. It’s a great way to partner with another blogger and meet new people. So when Jennifer at Jennifer P. Williams asked if I had a recipe I could share for her Momma Can Cook series, I immediately had one in mind. A family favorite…Carmelitas recipe.
Now if you’re here visiting the first time from Jennifer’s…HI!! ::waving:: For all of you that know me, you’ll love this one!
Ooey, gooey Carmelitas cookie bars. It’s caramel and chocolate chips baked on top of an oatmeal and brown sugar crust. To say that these are good would be an understatement.
This is one of Jason’s mom’s recipes that was handed down to me, and it’s also one of his favorite desserts. The kids love them too.
So head on over to Jennifer’s place to get this Carmelitas recipe. If you are a fan of caramel, trust me, you will want to make these!
If you’re looking for more dessert recipes, I have lots of them! Like homemade chocolate chip cookies with browned butter and sea salt, two ingredient no-bake Oreo truffles, or my cookie dough dip. Or check out my Desserts board on Pinterest.
