My sister has a recipe that she never wants to give out. It’s one of those recipes that she covets because everybody loves it and asks for it. She is greedy with her recipes, but recently gave it to me and so of course, I’m going to share it with you, just don’t tell her…it’s her Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe. It’s an easy appetizer recipe that everybody always asks for once they’ve had it.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients

1 large can of chicken, drained

8 ounces of cream cheese (I buy the whipped kind because it seems to melt faster)

4 tablespoons of butter

1/2 cup of Frank’s Hot Sauce

Directions

Just put it in the crockpot on low about an hour or two before you are going to serve it and stir occasionally until melted. That’s it!

Prepare It Ready Even Faster: Last weekend, I put everything in the crockpot and one of the girls must have unplugged it. So I threw it all in a pot on the stove over low heat until it melted, and then transferred it to the crockpot to keep it warm. It worked perfectly! You can also double or triple the recipe, which we always need to do and there’s never any left. Serve with celery, tortilla chips and/or potato chips. Like this recipe? Than try my Cream Cheese Dip recipe made with ham and cheese in a sourdough bread bowl. It’s a yummy sourdough starter that will literally leave an empty plate once it’s gone!
