So way back in April, I decided to commit to working out by doing the Brazil Butt Lift for 1 month. After all, one month is only 30 days, right? And I had hoped by then I would become addicted to working out and keep wanting to do it. Not so much. Which is why today marks the beginning of another workout month for me…this time by trying out BodyRock.TV workouts.
Now lots of people want to know: does the Brazil Butt Lift work, and I’m here to tell you it does. In just one month I lost over 11 inches on my arms, chest, waist, hips, and thighs. I also lost almost 9 pounds. At the beginning of the month I said at the end I’d post before and after pictures, and I did. And I felt awesome, my body felt awesome, and I was starting to look pretty damn good with my new rockin’ body. And then? At the end of the 30 days? I stopped completely. Not one more workout after I posted my before and after pics in June.
So now we are almost at the beginning of November. In just four months, I have ruined all that I worked so hard for. Just look at this:
Yep. I’ve gained back 9 of those 11.25 inches that I had lost. I’ve also gained back 3.7 of the 8.6 pounds I lost. Dude! Look at that! Almost 5 inches of that is back in my waist! My waist is actually bigger now than it was before I even started the Brazil Butt Lift. Awesome. I don’t fit in my clothes again, the cellulite is back, and I can’t stand looking at myself in the mirror.
So after chatting with my friends Sili from My Mamihood and Lucrecer from Living the good life, we decided we’d try something together – BodyRock.TV – which basically gives you a (kick your ass) workout each day. We started a facebook group to help support and motivate each other…and let’s be honest, to keep each other in check. I’m starting today.
Here’s our Day 1 Workout- The Hot Dirty Lust Workout on BodyRock.TV
I told you that these workouts are kick-your-ass workouts! Do you want to join us on our journey? I know it looks hard but believe me, YOU CAN DO IT! If you’d like to join us, let me know and I’ll add you to our facebook group!
I have come to understand I am not one of those people who will ever love/look forward to a workout, and that’s okay. As long as I can continue to motivate myself in someway to do it, I know I will do it. I can commit to a month, and then going forward I already have motivation – I am going to Vegas in March for my birthday and I want to rock a cute mini skirt and boots. And I want my legs to look awesome in that mini skirt!
Wish me luck, and you know you’ll see my weekly results. And at the end of 30 days, I will be posting before and after pics…not in a bikini this time, but you’ll still get to see them. Let’s just hope that I can lose all those inches I gained back and then some. Any tips, tricks or words to motivate are welcome!
I need your input! If you haven’t taken my Mommy of a Monster survey and have (literally) a minute to do so, I’d love to hear what you think and appreciate your feedback!
