7 Months – Gone So Fast

                       Ms. L                                                            Ms. M

Beautiful girls, beautiful girls, beautiful girls!

Today marks the beginning of Ms. L and Ms. M’s 8th month. I cannot believe how fast it’s gone. It is both exciting and sad at the same time.

Month #7 was a busy month for the girls! They started moving more, and becoming more independent. Here’s some of the things that happened this month.

  • They are sitting up, unassisted
  • They are eating two meals a day regularly. They both love everything we give them…except green beans. Neither one of them will even eat more than one spoonful
  • They scoot and roll to get around
  • They LOVE to take baths…especially if Tater is in there splashing them
  • Have their big, blue eyes still, and we hope that they stay blue
  • Love to be near each other, and are constantly touching each other
  • Play with their toys, unassisted
  • Both LOVE big brother Tater and watch him like he’s a walking comedy show
  • Ms. L also got her two bottom teeth! None for Ms. M yet, though
  • Ms. M is so close to crawling; she rocks back and forth on all fours, and it looks like she is going to actually crawl anyday now. Ms. L is not close to crawling (and that’s okay!)
  • Ms. L says “ba”, Ms. M ‘talks’ but no words yet
  • Have decided naps are for sissies and unnecessary if longer than 45 minutes (there goes my me time!)
  • Ms. M is a BIG giggler – she laughs a lot; Ms. L is more reserved and doesn’t give out her giggles freely
  • Ms. L is a definite mama’s girl – if I am out of her line of sight, she immediately starts looking for me and will cry. Ms. M could care less if I’m not around!

It’s going so fast! Before we know it they’ll be running around with Tater. Up until now, I’ve had a pretty easy time of juggling all three of them. But now that the girls are getting more mobile, it’s getting harder.

Maybe this month, the girls can focus on getting some hair!

And so it goes…

Too cute!! Focus on getting some hair made me laugh. What a good mommy you are!
  2. Holly Renee says:
I can't imagine having twins. It would be a lot of work but really cool at the same time. They are too cute. It's nice that they love baths but a bit of a bummer about the naps. It's so cool that you are keeping this blog about them, hopefully they can read it one day.
  3. Super cuteness!
